Massive Attack are one of the UK’s most formidable electronic bands formed in 1988 in Bristol. Since 2016, the band’s current lineup as a trio, consists of Robert “3D” Del Naja, Adrian “Tricky” Thaws and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall.
They have released five studio albums that have sold over 11 million copies worldwide, with their albums Blue Lines and Mezzanine featured in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Heritage Orchestra collaborated with Massive Attack to create the first ever LIVE rendition of Vangelis’ Blade Runner soundtrack when they were curating the Meltdown Festival 2008 at the Royal Festival Hall in London. The orchestra went on to perform a live show with Massive Attack in Hyde Park.
