The Barbican Centre presented the UK debut of Aphex Twin’s ground-breaking Remote Orchestra, comprising of a 48-piece Heritage Orchestra (strings and choir), with Richard D James manipulating the string section and choir remotely with a giant visual display and audio plumbed directly into our ears.
A difficult but gloriously experimental show, and a real treat to work with today’s most celebrated pioneer of electronic music.
