In February 2008 a 26-piece HO got to perform at the Apollo in London with the inimitable Brazilian musician and actor Seu Jorge.
Although huge in Brazil, we then only knew Mr Jorge from his part on the amazingly bizarre Wes Anderson film The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou – which spawned a musical release of Seu’s David Bowie covers that featured on the film. It was this concertised album that we got to play live with the man, thanks to the excellent London promoters !Como No.
