When we were under the wing of Brownswood Records and Gilles Peterson (around 2008), we did a show up north at the Sage Gateshead where Brazilian percussionist Airto Moreira joined us on stage.
Airto is most famed for his work with Miles Davis and his part in the creation of the seminal fusion recording Bitches Brew.
