Concerts

The Heritage Orchestra were asked by Massive Attack to create and perform the first ever LIVE rendition of Vangelis’ Blade Runner soundtrack when they were curating the Meltdown Festival 2008 at the Royal Festival Hall in London.  We subsequently performed with them at London’s Hyde Park, playing famous tracks such as Teardrop and Unfinished Sympathy.

Massive Attack are one of the UK’s most formidable electronic bands formed in 1988 in Bristol.  Since 2016, the band’s current lineup as a trio, consists of Robert 3D Del Naja, Adrian Tricky Thaws and Grant Daddy G Marshall.

They have released five studio albums that have sold over 11 million copies worldwide, with their albums Blue Lines and Mezzanine featured in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
