Profile: Chris Wheeler

The Heritage Orchestra is produced and managed by Chris Wheeler who originally conceived the ensemble to agitate the orchestral landscape, upend the classical format, get musicians playing outside of their box, and to collaborate with his favourite select artists and record labels.

Nearly twenty years on, Chris continues to guide the orchestra with each of its projects, remaining at the forefront as producer, curator, composer, developer of concepts, and collector of top-tier musicians, crew, and creatives; to deliver the best non-classical orchestral shows in the world.

His classical upbringing, electronic music background, creative intuition, and a catalogue of widely-varied projects, has positioned Chris as the go-to producer for uniquely spirited live music projects.
